Effective 5 October 2026 · Version 1.0
Website and platform terms
These terms apply when you access the People on Point website or use its online accounts and platform features. Separate written staffing, employment, engagement, quote or service terms may also apply.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use the platform for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it. If you do not agree, do not use an account or authenticated platform feature.
2. Accounts
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- Keep login links and credentials secure and do not share an account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for activity undertaken through your account unless caused by our breach of law or failure to use reasonable care.
3. Staffing enquiries and bookings
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability, price or a booking. A booking exists only when the applicable quote, service agreement or other written confirmation has been accepted through the stated process. Event-specific documents prevail over these website terms to the extent of an inconsistency.
4. Worker opportunities
A job page, application, profile, ranking, offer preview or expression of interest is not a guarantee of employment or a shift. Actual offers identify the relevant role, location, time, pay information and other conditions. Workers must provide accurate eligibility and compliance information and follow lawful safety and venue instructions.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, impersonate another person or misrepresent authority, qualifications or availability;
- upload malicious code or probe, disrupt, scrape or reverse engineer the service;
- access another person's or organisation's information without authority;
- use the service to harass, discriminate, exploit or endanger anyone; or
- upload information you are not entitled to provide.
6. Website information
General website content is provided for information and may change. While we take reasonable care, event availability, role requirements, timing and pricing must be confirmed in the applicable current record or written agreement. Nothing on the website is legal, tax, payroll, migration, safety or financial advice.
7. Intellectual property
People on Point or its licensors own the website, branding, software and supplied content, excluding information you provide. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain rights in your content and authorise us to host, process and display it as necessary to provide and secure the service.
8. Availability and third-party services
We may maintain, change or temporarily suspend platform features. The service also depends on third-party hosting, authentication and other providers. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, but this does not exclude obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Workers should also read the worker privacy notice.
10. Responsibility and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising only from use of the general public website. Liability relating to paid staffing services is governed by the applicable service agreement and law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. We will act proportionately and provide notice where reasonably practicable. Terms that by nature continue—such as privacy, intellectual property and accrued rights—survive account closure.
12. Changes
We may update these website terms prospectively. The effective date and version identify the current terms. Material account-related changes will be communicated where appropriate. Changes do not rewrite an already accepted event agreement unless that agreement and the law permit it.
13. Governing law and contact
These website terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. Email ben.m.blair@gmail.com or use our contact form with questions.
